Awards

At GIScience 2016, we sought to award excellence in writing and presentations by students. With generous support from our sponsors, The Convergence Network, the University of Saskatchewan Social Science Research Lab and Springer, we were able to give out a total of four awards. Two were for short papers (presented as posters); one was for a short paper (presented during a session); and one was for a full paper (presented during a session). Thanks so much to Scott Bell, Scott Mitchell, Victoria Fast, Rodolphe Devillers, Claus Rinner, Andy Anderson and many many others for their evaluations!
